Feeling like a bike racing downhill The Unexpected Wedding ties up it loose ends and finalizes not with A couple with moonlight and love in the air but multiple starts, beginnings, and opportunities for couples and families.
Looks like Ms. Correll might be getting her feet wet and getting out of her comfort zone.
She still describes purses and locks of hair ho hum!

Characters get into your heart and you cheer them on. Full of friendship love sacrifice and much more. I read it in 2 day's had a hard time putting it down.
I loved this book!! Becky Lee, Cal and Scotty made a wonderful family. You can feel the emotions building as the story progresses and I couldn't put the book down.
I encourage everyone to read this book!
Enjoyed the 5 books in the series. After reading the first book in the Comfort Crossing series, I purchased the next four as a set. Haven't been disappointed. Sweet believable romance with a happy ending. Thanks for some enjoyable time on hot afternoons.
Cal and Becky wanted the same thing for his nephew. Cal would do anything for his sister who was in the hospital in a coma and it also Becky's sister. Cal's father would do anything to raise his grandson but Cal knew that Cal's sister-in-law had a paper stating that Cal was to adopt and raise her son and had it signed by a judge. Cal could not find the paper but after a awhile Becky found it. you'll have to read the book and find out what happened.
Keeping people safe and appreciating the closeness of family are high points of this story. Cal Gray was raised by one selfish, cold hearted father who also managed to twist the law in some of his business dealings. Scott's parents were involved in a serious auto accident in which his father was killed and his mother was in a coma for several weeks... His uncle on his father's side and his aunt on his mother's side, in an effort to protect him, entered into a marriage of convenience.
I just finished this series. I enjoyed them all. The only negative was a few editing errors. For example, on one page a lady is drinking tea and on the next page she is drinking coffee. Another was the mistake of wrong character names, I.e., Cal instead of Clay or Gil,etc. Another was referring to the childs dog, Penny, a girl dog as a him. But my favorite, that made me laugh out loud was when the female called herself a wanton woman and he responded that he like a wonton woman, yes, mispelled as wonton!!!! So series, was good, but editing errors were slighly distracting
The Unexpected Wedding; Comfort Crossing Book 5 is by Kay Correll. This is a suspenseful book as well as a romance. However, the romances just keep coming and it is hard to foresee them. It is also about family and taking care of them.
Becky Lee Tesson loved her job at the Magic Café. She loved helping folks and meeting new people. Today, a man came in with a young boy who seemed to be about seven. Something about the boy looked familiar; but she was sure she had never seen him. The man with him seemed to watch her as she helped other customers. When he asked for a place to stay, she sent him to The Belle Island Inn where her friends ran a B&B. Little did she know the impact they would have on her life.
Cal Gray had come to Comfort Crossing specifically, now he needed a job and a sitter for Scotty when he was working. His brother and sister-in-law had been in a car accident. His brother was dead and his sister-in-law TJ was in a coma. TJ had told him that they were giving him legal custody of Scotty if something happened to them. This was to keep Scotty out of the hands of Cal’s father. He was a cold man whose idea of children was to send them to boarding schools and groom them to take over the business. Neither Cal nor his brother Gordon conformed to their father’s rules. Their sister did follow all the rules and was a major player in the family firm. TJ had also told Cal to take Scotty to her sister Becky Lee. She would take care of him. The trouble was that Becky Lee had not heard from her sister in some time and had no idea she had a nephew. How was she going to react when she finds out?
You have several other romances coming along as the novel continues. It definitely keeps your attention.
